Send a quote the customer approves from a link

A price agreed only on the phone is easy to lose. SGR keeps the amount on the ticket and lets the customer approve it from a link the shop gives them.

Put the amount on the ticket

After diagnosis, add a status and enter the quote. The status “quote sent” will not save without an amount. The latest amount on the ticket is the quote. You can download a quote PDF from the ticket if the customer wants a file as well as the link.

The link is signed, and it is the only way in

On the ticket, Portal link shows a temporary address. By default it lasts 7 days. The address is signed. It opens that ticket and no other. There is no customer login and no page where someone can browse every repair in the shop. If the link expires, copy a new one from the same ticket.

The page shows the shop name, the ticket number, the current status, the equipment, accessories left at the shop, parts on the job, and the quote in euros. The history lists each status and the notes written for the customer. Notes meant for the technician are not on the page.

If a phone number is stored for the customer, the ticket can open WhatsApp with a short message so you can paste the link into a chat you already use. If email delivery is switched on, a template can include the portal address. The customer still approves on the SGR page, not inside the chat.

Approval is one confirmation

The approve button appears only while the ticket is on “quote sent”. The customer confirms. SGR records “approved by the customer”, keeps the same amount, and writes a customer note that the quote was approved and the repair will go ahead. Staff in that shop get a notice in the app. If email delivery is on, the shop’s notification address can receive the same news.

The dashboard then counts that job under quotes that are no longer waiting, and under work that is approved but not yet in repair, so the bench can pick it up. A later status, in repair, is how the shop marks that the work has started.
