Run more than one repair shop
SGR is built for computer and phone repair shops, and for more than one shop at a time. Each shop is its own account. The counter you sign into does not see the other counter’s tickets.
One account is one shop
Registration creates one shop. The people who work there sign in to that shop. A second location is a second account, with its own customers, tickets, and catalogues. Signing in at one shop does not open the other shop’s repairs, customers, or receipts.
That split is the point. A phone left at one counter stays on that counter’s list. A laptop at the other shop stays there. Staff do not need a shared inbox of every job in the company to do a day’s work.
Catalogues, parts, and receipts stay put
Each new shop receives its own equipment types, faults, accessories, and status names. Renaming “in diagnosis” in one shop does not rename it in the other. Parts stock is per shop as well: SKU, quantity, cost, and sell price, with a movement when a part is used on a ticket. The low-stock count on the dashboard is for the shop you are signed into.
Workshop receipts use that shop’s prefix. A new shop starts with REC. The receipt is an internal workshop document for the job. It is not a certified tax invoice. Customers, appointments, and email templates are stored on the shop too.
The dashboard is the shop you opened
Open tickets, quotes waiting, devices ready for pickup, and draft receipts are counted for the signed-in shop. Exports of tickets and customers export that shop. Printing a ticket prints that shop’s job.
Running more than one shop in SGR means running more than one account on the same product, with the records kept apart. The work at each counter stays readable because it is not mixed with the other counter.
