Customers
Customers is the first item under Operations. A customer belongs to the shop you are signed into.
What you record
A customer has a name, an address, a postal code, a city, and an email. There are two phone numbers, each with a from and to time for when to call. Contact method and how they heard about the shop come from the Configuration lists. The person who opened the record and the date are stored with the customer.
The list shows name, city, phone, email, how many repair tickets they have, and the date the record was opened. Search covers name, phone, and email. Command+K finds a customer the same way.
Tickets, export, and removal
Open a customer to see their repair tickets. The filtered list can be exported to Excel or CSV. Deleting a customer hides them from the working list. A workshop receipt already tied to them stays; the receipt is not a tax invoice, and deleting the customer does not file anything with a tax authority.
