Parts
Parts is under Operations. It is the stock list for the shop you are signed into.
The part record
A part has an optional SKU, unique in that shop, a name, a brand, a cost, a sell price, and whether it is active. On create you can enter the opening quantity. After that, the quantity on the form is read-only. Stock in and stock out go through Adjust stock, with a reason, and each change is a movement on the part.
Use on a ticket
Adding a part to a repair ticket records a stock movement and reduces the quantity. Removing that line puts the quantity back. The list can be filtered to active parts or to low stock. The Dashboard count of low stock is parts with three or fewer in stock. The list itself marks three or fewer in red, and from four to ten in amber.
